| My first tour of Loyola U.-Lakeshore campus-Love it! |
| Beautiful architecture and a wonderful vibrant mix of very old and very new--should have gotten a great pic of the Information Building--a glass box sitting at the water's edge with a row of leather chairs set up to take in the perfect contemplative view of Lake Michigan |
| Welcome to the neighborhood -I'll take it! |
| Complete with sandy beach |
| Em and Mitch (Information Building in the background) |
| Rear of campus chapel |
| Moving day always requires a handy man and his tool box-luckily no lofts were needed with this move! |

Mitchell moved to Chicago and we helped him move in this weekend. He has a fabulous 3 story older brick building in a tree-lined neighborhood with a completely updated interior and a private shared deck/courtyard in the back. Within walking distance of campus, a grocery store, several restaurants and lake Michigan-it is a perfect spot! I had not toured Loyola in the past (Kevin had with Nick and Joe) and was relieved that the campus felt "right". What a beautiful mix of old and new--its a very vibrant campus. Seeing smelling and hearing Lake Michigan is a real plus!
Friday night we hit a neighborhood spot Uncommon Ground-- a green restaurant with roof top garden--we loved it!
Saturday changed it up a bit and joined the Pauls with Sean (Mitch's roommate) Ditka's a Chicago classic and Ditka was in the house. A whirlwind of a trip but Mitchell is settled and will no doubt have an awesome year in his new "world".
