Emily on the move

Everyone now knows that Miss Em is heading to Moroto Uganda 

for the next fifteen months. We have her well stocked with professional yet washable dresses (no small feat) and are helping her at least get medicines and immunizations in order. She is busy working on her Visa, banking, studying, planning and saying her good-byes all around the Midwest.

I find that I am trying to 1.) learn about where she is headed, 2.) support her in her daily roller coaster and 3.) keep a lid on  my emotions because I am not the one that is 'heading out" .  

More than anything I am so happy that she is able to do the job she has been educated and trained to do-and can't wait for her to arrive and start blogging :D 

That leaves me with an old vice.................well hello, Halloween-sized Snicker, I have missed you!
