On Sunday Kevin and I went on the North Hills Pottery Tour with Diane. It starts at the Florence Mill and on to Ponca Hills, Fort Calhoun and ends in Herman (what?) NE. A fantastic and beautiful drive and along the way the artists serve warm soup, jazz music, wine tastings and fire pits blazing in addition to their craft!
We loved it and at last I bought a piece. It turns out he lives and works in St Joe MN and actually digs the earth for his clay near there and also in ND.
The piece we bought has a small house imprinted and also an image depicting the prairie.
Love it :D
