While the boys were away, the girls ....

Nicki, Nicki, Emily and Mitch were home with us for most, if not all, of the summer. It was so much fun to have a full house again! Every night was just such fun talking and enjoying fun in Omaha--from restaurants to festivals, we were busy! But it all came to an end in late August.  Nick left on a Monday and on Thursday Kevin drove with Mitchell in the CRV (new driver's window!! be very excited for the drive-thru's Mitchell--its been a long time comin'!).  As a result, luggage was flying, kids were packing, people were coming and going, and Heidi was watching, feeling and ......responding to the sudden and unpleasant happenings in her household.  She became quite ill and the doctor told me "she is feeling it all in her tummy". Heidi--I give you credit for feeling for us--I was too busy keeping a happy face to let it show! 
Everyone arrived safe n' sound and Nicki and I wasted no time getting to the bead store!  Nicki was sweet and patient enough to teach me some beading basics and we "rocked" it out the rest of the day.  I love it! I can't thank her enough for opening this world to me :D
