She forged ahead, sold her home in days, and started packing. We all know there were several missteps from there--causing a two week delay on her plans. Not only was she sent into a financial spiral regarding her buyer's ability to buy, but she lost a lot of help as people returned to work and vacations. Finally, on a Friday night she had two days warning and frantically found movers (thanks Kate!). I arrived to help at 5 and she said her movers had cancelled--because they had "fought all day and didn't want to work together tonight"! I started to post a job on Craig's list ("two men and one truck will make $400 tonight") but Kevin saved the day by asking his cleaning staff, Matt, if he had ideas. Yes he did. Promptly arrived two of the nicest guys on earth--and energetic even though they had cut down and hauled trees all day!. By 11 pm Kevin, Ben and Lyle were setting up her bed and heading for home.
Its a beautiful space and I know she will love it! Her neighbors seem so sweet and friendly. I don't think she could ask for more. Cheers to you Diane! Way to hang in there!
