Proposal at Cape May

ENGAGEMENT:  assurance, betrothal, bond, compact, contract, oath, obligation, pact, pledge, promise, undertaking, vow, word   EXCITEMENT! CONGRATULATIONS  ! Joe took pictures at the beach, set up the timer and ran back to propose-he completely surprised Christin (and Leo) with the proposal and the ring! Happy! Christin and her sister Cara-let the planning begin! Telling her Mom :D Telling me :D Joe told us in Minnesota that he was looking at rings and planning to propose to Christin in August while they were vacationing at Cape May,  NJ with her family. We were so excited and soon emails with pictures of her ring were arriving with threats swearing us to secrecy! Joe arrived at Cape May on Wednesday but it rained all day so they did not get to "their" beach. On Thursday, Christin was trying to include her folks on the walk, but they suddenly seemed disinterested (they of course knew Joe had a ring in his pocket!)--so she tried to rearrange the beach walking until a time later when it work and then chose another beach..and suffice it to say according to Christin, despite her putting all obstacles in his path, he did get her to the beach that day. Setting up his camera for some casual shots, he suddenly ran toward her and dropped on one knee with ring in his hand. She was so surprised and of course said Yes!.   Since then it has been congratulations all around and sharing of joyful anticipation in the upcoming months ahead of wedding preparation.  (Correction: not months of planning, but weeks because they have decided on a New Year's Eve wedding in Maui :D) Congratulations Joe and Christin
