After the Christmas holidays I got to see both grand babies........

January in Portland with Ruby!

I arrived on a Saturday morning and off we went to the Children's Museum where Ruby got to be a rock climber, a construction worker, a vetenarian, a writer, and best of all...walk through Eric Carle books as big as the room, butterflies and all :D

Saturday night Nick and Nicki went to a show and Ruby and I baked surprise cookies for Nicki's birthday. Nicki is "her Momma" and Ruby had just learned that I was "her Daddy's Momma" so she liked to say it a lot!

Sunday we had brunch with Anne and Spencer and then took Nicki shopping for maternity clothes as BD present. Baby sister due May 18th!! On Monday we hiked in the forest.

March brought Joe Christin and Sammy to Omaha--we all enjoyed 70 and sunny for the weekend!
Friday night pizza and Sammy met the entire Omaha clan!
Saturday we toured Habitat with Em, went to Lauritzen Gardens, Via Farina, Farnam Street brewery and entertained Matt Gerken and Stevie for dinner--wow! Sunday we chilled out.....!
